SERVICES

Our Pharmacy Services

We provide a private blood pressure check service. Monitoring your blood pressure as you get older is important as high blood pressure can lead to strokes and cardio-vascular problems.
Check your blood pressure

The only way of knowing whether you have high blood pressure is to have a blood pressure test.

All adults over 40 are advised to have their blood pressure checked at least every 5 years. Getting this done is easy and could save your life.

You can get your blood pressure tested at a number of places, including:

  • At your GP surgery

  • At our pharmacy

  • As part of your NHS Health Check

  • In some workplaces

You can also check your blood pressure yourself with a home blood pressure monitor.

We provide a free screening service to test if you are carrying the chlamydia infection. If the test is positive we can supply a simple course of antibiotics to treat and clear up the infection. The pharmacist will provide a totally confidential, non-judgmental consultation, support and advice in our private consulting rooms.

In order to dispose your unwanted medicine whether or not they have yet expired. We are always happy to take them and dispose it away for you in the safest way possible.

No appointments needed, easily accessible location and just a quick consultation, we ensure a hassle free service to all our patients. Simply walk in and ask to speak to our friendly and professional pharmacist about the morning after pill.

Our pharmacist will need to see the person that the emergency contraception is intended for, and will need to ask a few questions regarding the patients’ medical history. This is done in the privacy of our consultation room and everything discussed is in complete confidence. The sooner you come to our pharmacy to take the morning after pill, the greater the chances of avoiding pregnancy.

The pharmacist and our trained assistants are available for advice on all medicines and minor ailments, in private if required. We can also give you advice on how to live a healthy life, for example, advice on how to stop smoking, or healthy diets. We can direct you to other sources of advice and assistance if we cannot help you ourselves.

If you have trouble remembering to take your medication or you know of someone that finds it hard to remember, we can package medicines in our weekly medication trays. We offer this service completely FREE of charge. Please call us today or more information and we would be happy to explain the service.
